Tabcorp acquires BetMakers for $267 million, accelerating the modernization of its technology platform and bringing cost savings. The deal, announced via an Australian Securities Exchange (ASX) filing, aims to integrate BetMakers’ wagering technology platforms and B2B services into Tabcorp’s wagering and media operations. Under the Scheme Implementation Deed, Tabcorp will acquire 100% of BetMakers’ shares for A$0.07 per share, valuing the company at approximately A$40 million. The acquisition is expected to generate significant synergies for Tabcorp, including an estimated A$20 million in annual cost savings and enhanced product offerings. The transaction is subject to shareholder approval and regulatory clearances, with completion anticipated in late 2026.
