Short answer: live casino integration cost is mostly a share of gross gaming revenue (GGR), plus a one-time connection fee and the price of a gaming license. At Gambling Soft, live games are already part of the Casino + Betting Premium turnkey package ($59,000 + 15% of GGR). On any other Gambling Soft platform, live dealer games are connected through the official games package: $5,500 once, then 15% of GGR from those games, with Evolution and 70+ other providers in the catalogue. Live studios work only with licensed operators under a signed contract, so budget for a license too: Anjouan $28,000 or Curacao $75,000 ($70,000 with the Premium package). Across the market, live providers take 10-20% of GGR and sometimes set minimum monthly payments, and integration through an aggregator takes 2-6 weeks (industry estimates). HTML5 slots, including our $1,650 extended package, do not include live games and cannot replace them.
What live casino is and why it cannot be copied
A live casino game is a video stream from a real studio. A dealer spins a physical roulette wheel or deals real cards, cameras and recognition equipment turn every result into data, and the studio’s server settles the bets and sends the outcome to your casino through an API. Your platform shows the stream, takes the bet from the player’s balance and credits the win. The game itself never runs on your server.
This is the main difference from slots. A slot is software: a set of graphics and a random number generator, which is why HTML5 slots exist and can run on the operator’s own server with adjustable RTP. A live table is a working studio with dealers on shifts, pit bosses, cameras, lighting and streaming infrastructure running around the clock. There is nothing to copy. Anyone offering “live casino copies” is either rebroadcasting someone else’s stream without rights or selling pre-recorded video, and both end in blocked streams, disputes with players and problems with payment providers.
That is why the Gambling Soft extended games package ($1,650, 1,700+ HTML5 slots with RTP from 5% to 100%) and the roughly 1,200 HTML5 slots included in every platform cover slots only. Live dealer games come from licensed studios. For the difference between official games and HTML5 slots in more detail, see how to choose a game aggregator.
Three ways to connect live casino games
An operator has three routes to Evolution, Pragmatic Play Live and other live studios. They differ in who signs the contracts, who does the technical work and how the revenue share is set.
| Criterion | Gambling Soft official games package | Third-party aggregator | Direct contract with a studio |
|---|---|---|---|
| Contracts you sign | One, with Gambling Soft | One with the aggregator, plus a separate platform contract | One per studio |
| Studios | Evolution and 70+ providers (slots and live) in one catalogue | Depends on the aggregator | One studio per contract |
| Technical integration | Done by Gambling Soft on your platform, included in $5,500 | Your developers or your platform vendor (industry estimates: 2-6 weeks) | Separate integration for each studio |
| Cost model | $5,500 once + 15% of GGR from these games | 10-20% of GGR for live, sometimes a setup fee (industry estimates) | 10-20% of GGR, often with minimum monthly payments (industry estimates) |
| License | Required | Required | Required, checked by each studio |
| Traffic requirements | Shared tables from the catalogue; dedicated tables by separate agreement with the studio | Usually low for new operators (industry estimates) | Studios may ask for traffic forecasts and proven turnover (industry estimates) |
| Who it suits | Operators on a Gambling Soft platform who want live without a second vendor | Operators on another platform who already have an in-house tech team | Established operators where live brings a large part of revenue |
For most new casinos, direct deals with live studios are not the first step. A studio checks the license, the company and the target markets, and a small brand with no history may be declined or offered terms with a monthly minimum. An aggregator or a platform package puts one contract and one integration between you and dozens of studios.
How much live casino integration costs
The table combines current Gambling Soft prices with market ranges. Our prices are one-time payments except the GGR share, which is calculated monthly from the platform report. Figures marked as industry estimates describe the market in general and vary by studio, license and market.
| Item | Price (USD) | What it covers |
|---|---|---|
| Casino + Betting Premium turnkey package | $59,000 + 15% of GGR (betting 15%) | Casino engine with live games, 14,000 official games, sportsbook, unique design, premium VDS hosting, 5 mirrors, CDN, 8 languages, 3 months support |
| Official games package (for any other Gambling Soft platform) | $5,500 once + 15% of GGR | Evolution and 70+ providers, 21,000+ games including live dealer; contract, integration and payout testing |
| Platform to connect the package to | from $8,500 (Violet) to $47,500 (Velvet); source code $19,000 | Ready casino with source code, admin panel, payments, bonuses |
| Anjouan gaming license | $28,000 | License with company registration |
| Curacao gaming license | $75,000 ($70,000 with Premium) | License with company registration |
| Extended games package (HTML5 slots) | $1,650 once | 1,700+ HTML5 slots; no live games |
| Live share via market aggregators (industry estimates) | 10-20% of GGR, sometimes a setup fee | Content only; integration and hosting are on you |
| Direct studio contract (industry estimates) | 10-20% of GGR, sometimes minimum monthly payments | One studio; separate license check and integration |
Two example starting budgets with live dealer games:
- Minimal start with live: Violet $8,500 + official games package $5,500 + Anjouan license $28,000 = $42,000 plus hosting, then 15% of GGR from official games.
- Full package: Casino + Betting Premium $59,000 + Curacao license $70,000 = $129,000, with hosting, CDN and 5 mirrors already in the package, then 15% of GGR.

What live studios require
A gaming license
No license, no live casino. Studios sign only with licensed operators and check which markets the license covers. Gambling Soft arranges licenses together with company registration, for example Anjouan ($28,000, the lowest entry price in our list) or Curacao ($75,000, or $70,000 with the Premium package). Before paying for a license, confirm with the studio or the aggregator that it accepts that jurisdiction for your target markets. Options and prices are on the list of licenses.
KYC of the operator and of players
The studio or aggregator runs its own check of your company: registration documents, beneficial owners, the license, sometimes proof of funds. On the player side, the license requires identity checks and AML monitoring before withdrawals, and live tables attract high-stakes players, so this part gets tested early. Prepare company documents before signing, because missing papers delay the connection.
Traffic and turnover
For shared tables in an aggregator catalogue, new operators are usually accepted without volume thresholds. Direct contracts, dedicated tables and branded studios are a different story: providers may ask for a traffic forecast, proven turnover or a monthly minimum, and dedicated tables are priced separately (industry estimates).
Technical side
Live games need a stable wallet integration (every bet and win is a real-time API call), a lobby that shows table limits and seat availability, and fast delivery of the video stream on mobile. The Premium package includes CDN and premium VDS hosting for that reason. On other platforms, the integration and payout testing are part of the $5,500 connection.
Economics: example with $50,000 live GGR per month
GGR is players’ bets minus players’ winnings, before bonuses and taxes. Suppose live tables generate $50,000 GGR per month on a Gambling Soft platform with the official games package.
- Provider share at 15%: $50,000 x 15% = $7,500 per month.
- GGR left to the operator: $50,000 – $7,500 = $42,500, before bonuses, payment fees and marketing.
- Year one: $5,500 connection + 12 x $7,500 = $95,500, against $600,000 live GGR.
- Same volume through a market provider at 10-20% (industry estimates): $5,000 to $10,000 per month, plus your own integration and hosting costs.
Three things change the real result more than the percentage itself. First, live GGR swings: a few high-stakes winners can make a month negative, so ask in writing how negative months are handled. Second, bonus abuse: players clear wagering on low-margin tables, which is why many operators count live games at a reduced rate toward wagering or exclude them. Third, minimum payments: a fixed monthly minimum means little at $50,000 GGR but can eat a small casino’s margin in its first months.
Steps to add live casino to your site
- Choose the route. Casino + Betting Premium if you want live, sportsbook and hosting in one package; a ready-made casino plus the official games package if you prefer a lower entry price.
- Get a license. Anjouan or Curacao, confirmed as accepted by the studios you need.
- Prepare company KYC. Registration documents, owners, license, contact persons.
- Sign the games contract. With Gambling Soft for the official games package, or with an aggregator or studio if you go another way.
- Connect payments. Studios and aggregators want to see a working cashier before launch.
- Integration and testing. Wallet calls, bet settlement, payouts, stream quality on mobile.
- Configure the lobby and bonuses. Live categories, table limits, wagering contribution for live games.
- Go live and reconcile. Check the first monthly provider report against the platform statistics before paying the GGR share.
The technical launch of a ready Gambling Soft platform takes 7 business days after the advance payment. Live games start accepting real bets once the license, company KYC and payments are in place.
FAQ
How much does it cost to add Evolution live casino?
On a Gambling Soft platform, Evolution comes with the official games package: $5,500 once and then 15% of GGR from those games. In the Casino + Betting Premium package ($59,000) live games are already included. In both cases you need a license, for example Anjouan ($28,000) or Curacao ($75,000).
Can I launch live casino without a license?
No. Live studios sign only with licensed operators and check the company behind the brand. Without a license you can run slots, including HTML5 slots, in offshore markets, but not live dealer games.
Does the $1,650 extended games package include live games?
No. It contains 1,700+ HTML5 slots with adjustable RTP. Live games are streams from real studios with real dealers; they cannot be copied and are available only through licensed providers.
How long does live casino integration take?
Through a market aggregator, 2-6 weeks (industry estimates). A ready Gambling Soft platform is technically launched in 7 business days after the advance; live tables go live after the license, company KYC and payments are ready.
Do live providers charge minimum monthly fees?
Some do, mostly in direct contracts and for dedicated tables (industry estimates). With the Gambling Soft official games package, the 15% GGR share is the only recurring cost after the $5,500 connection. Send your target markets and expected traffic via contacts and we will confirm which live studios are available for your license.
