Platform updates: release 2024.05 (May 2024)

Short answer. Gambling Soft platform release 2024.05 (May 2024): 471 changes. The API gets a persistence layer with repositories, entities, mappers and criteria; password history and strength rules; chat and authentication tests on data providers; nightly slot test jobs for three game providers with reports. The admin panel 2.0 is born on 23 May with its first screens (bonuses, banners, cashbacks per domain group, black lists, system tests, bug reports, gaming accounts). The poker room gains a dealer, blinds, all-in, side pots, player logs, transactions in the admin panel, timers and rebuys.

Release 2024.05 at a glance

Player API

• New: persistence layer. Abstract repository, entity and mapper interfaces, collections, criteria with IS NULL support, PrimaryKey, Column and Table attributes, type casting in the entity mapper; repositories for users, bonuses, promo codes, chat, activation, game settings and password history; old readers deprecated and removed.
• New: password policy. Password requirements, password history with generator helper and asserts (exclude, contains) with tests; change-password validator fixed.
• Improved: login by promo code; identity by IP with three attempts by default; tournaments service refactored and cron run changed; win list; ajax input mapping reads JSON bodies; services wrapped in try-catch with error returns; registration failure messages.

Quality

• New: slot test jobs. Cron jobs run test launches of games for three providers with a cache of tested and failed ids, iteration limits, HTML reports with templates and history cleanup; an abstract job shares the logic.
• Improved: tests. Acceptance tests for authentication, activation, change password, chat, promo codes, profile and ratings refactored with data providers; user test helper; cleanups when exceptions are caught; mocks for slot tests.

Admin panel 2.0

• New: the admin panel 2.0 repository is created on 23 May with assets, database connection and the first sections: bonuses (title, nullable description, translations), banners with description translations, cashbacks limited to the current domain group, black list tables with pagination and defaults, system tests page with cache reset, bug reports, gaming accounts, pay-way manual, dashboard graph and router logos, module descriptions with screenshots, sidebar and page translations, demo role rules for balance changes.

Poker

• New: table mechanics. Dealer logic, small and big blinds per table, all-in button and action, bank splitting with side pots and a winner per bank, max bet move, bid raising, inactive players after missed moves, kick when balance is below the big blind, timer, rebuy text, ready-to-play updates, show cards only for winners unless allowed.
• New: records. Player poker logs and transactions tables with admin CRUD, game hash per table, balance save on transactions, converter for amounts, admin assets fixed.
• Improved: two new street combinations, blind logic at the first round, fold bugs, readme and configuration, code sniffer.

Bridges and engagement

• New: GGR log page for slot API bridges; API method returning an encrypted password for integrations; bonus activation raises a dedicated exception when the payment is not paid; fortune wheel checks promotion days and free spins.
• Improved: parser cache blocking removed for all providers; slot log data and game integrations changed; domain group fixes.

Compatibility and upgrade notes

• Models now go through repositories; direct readers are removed.
• The admin panel 2.0 requires its own database connection settings.
